Just want to say I bought myself Guitar Hero for the PS2 today and it is fantastic!! I can play along to Black Sabbath, Jimmy Hendrix, Queens of the stone age, ZZ top

No more air guitar, its a plastic one with bright buttons from now on lol

Have to agree there, Guitar Hero is my game of choice on PS2 right now.

Part 2 was just announced, sounds way better then the first, due out in November. They have 40 licenced songs this time (as upposed to the 10 in the original, that isn\'t actually ZZtop you know), there will be a better 2 player mode called co-op where each player will pick a difficulty and then from one of Rythm, lead or bass guitar. There will finally be a Practice mode (so maybe I will eventually Beat Crossroads on Hard), and tons more. Really looking forward to it.

No you don\'t, you just think you do. Two player stinks horribly.

You have to play on the same difficulty level and you each only play parts of the songs. You do your little 15 note bit and then sit and wait for the other guy to do his, then you do a 20 note bit, then he does 20 etc. There are a few parts where you play the same notes but that\'s it.

We got two guitars just for playing two player and in less then half an hour went back to passing just one around.
