Allegra and Flonase - or their generic equivalents are seeing me through Cedar Sex Season here in Austin - you might want to see your doctor.

Try a Neti-pot to flush the sinuses out and eliminate some of the pollen.

Short of a HEPA level 3(?) full face mask nothing that could give you instant long lasting relief.

But I\'d seriously suggest contacting a homeopathic practisioner to see what they can do for long term relief.

Yep, this is disgusting and a pain in the arse, but it works!!

Although, I haven\'t had the problems recently, as I\'ve had the past few years.

Thankfully, because with our \'laws\' restricting the purchase of certain types of decongestant (apparently the same ones used to make meth) you end up with needless suffering. Buying the drug isn\'t illegal, but buying anymore than a weeks worth per month is.

I actually sympathise with Airhead on this as I developed \"Hayfever\" out of the blue in my late 20\'s.
Never had it before, but \"BANG\" one day streamy stinging nose, watery eyes and difficult breathing. All due to Oil Seed Rape pollen.

I\'ve tried a number of \"over the counter\" products and ended up using a \"Homeopathic\" remedy, which has worked. After 20 years no more viscious hayfever attacks.
Still get a little \"tingle\" in the nose now and again but nothing like the Running tap in the eyes and nose.

(Personally I think it\'s all a conspiracy by the manufacturers of KLEENEX :possessed: )

We need a paraniod smiley now, or is that a contradiction in terms?

I thought jabs were available these days? Pay for a jab and be done! They protect against animal allergies too. My hayfever is fair to middling, so I just stick with the tabs and eye-drops.

i used to use flixonase which did the trick. i had allergic rhinitis (streaming nose, not exactly hayfever as other things can set it off.) for the first hour or so of every morning, i would loose half my bodyweight in snot. started using that and it was ok. stopped a few years back when i had to start paying for prescriptions (we need a \'tight as a mackerel\'s arse\' smiley!) and it seemed to have sorted itself out. puberty can do wonderful things!

1. That was a mental image I could have gone along time without encountering.
2: Half your body weight .....you\'re a skinny kid to start with.

To the female population, it certainly does. :innocent:

I\'m allergic too, but I have some time until my fellas start to bloom.

Don\'t know any of your mentioned medications, anything with anti-histamin effect will do the job for most normal allergies.

Oh and I tried most of the eye drops, nose sprays and stuff available here....besides some 5 min effect they work like f....in nothing.

So the Anti-Histamin (Zyrtec) i take now a small little pills. One when feeling allergic and the day is saved.
