I\'m not sure about the ally rules, but aren\'t they in the rulebook ?

IG taking Space Marines as allies. I was wondering if I could take any elites.

Nope. Unless your either use the Daemon/Witch/Alien Hunters rules or take 2 Force Organisation charts then there is no way to mix and match armies.
