Ok, so it\'s Virae with a head swap....
I\'ve got this far, I don\'t really know where to take it now. Obviously I\'ve gotta do the base, but what else could I do on the paint side?
Cheers me dears----

The skin looks a bit rough, but I think it could be sorted out with a few glazes. I like the green bit and the leather too, the freehand is really cool. But frankly, I liked the original head better ;)

I agree about the skin being rough, I found that a couple of coats of matt varnish can smooth that out, then repaint the skin again but with very thin paint.

The green is nice & the free ahnd matches the rest of the figure. Good job.

Thanks Squig and Eldin
Update
fianna2.jpg

There are various images, but there all taken at the same time. I\'ve been screwin\' around with gimp to try and get the photos more acurate.
I\'ve added more high lights, there are alot more glazes to do yet I guess. To my mind it now looks a shit load worse, and to be honest, I\'ve lost any enthusiasm I had for it. Lumpy skin an all. grrrrrrr

What is the story here, is it ;
A) the mini is boring and no-one can be arsed to comment.
B) My painting is so damn fantastic, you just don\'t know what to say.
C) You\'re so tired after writing in the popcorn threads that you\'ve no energy for constructive critism
D) I\'ve trod on some toes recently
E) my painting is so bad, that no-one wants to volunteer an opinion.

I\'ll bite, I like the cloth still, but as I said the skin is quite chalky and it needs smoothing out more than ever, I think the problem is that there doesen\'t seem to be very much change from the first pics to this update mate;)

Skin looks much better now, but I feel the metal needs highlighting and some more definition around the filigree ;)

It says to me, \"One way or another, I am going to poke your eye out.\"

Looking great so far, and I have to agree the skin is much improved.

Wow! Definitely a great improvement on the skin, looks a lot smoother. Good job. I think Squig was right, you just need a little bit more definition on the metals - maybe the hair as well.

Alright, I\'m through here.
Thanks for the feed back, I retouched the metals a little, but the photos are not too good so it may be difficult to tell.
Anyway it\'s based and to be honest I\'m sick of it now, I\'m gonna go back to my smurfs:rolleyes:VOTE LINK

It looks now as if the cloth could use some highlights and some matt varnish. Also, does she have anti-gravitational boobieslol?
