An Astropath with eyes

well more of an experiment painting an old face. Really pleased with the face, rest came out so so. Need a lot more practice with blending red. Added eyes with green stuff - a bit of a challenge see the size of the mini.

Lovely piece Mr Ball.
To help improve your red make all your brush strokes go down with the flow of the folds wether basecoating shading or highlighting.
Avoid using a sideways stroke even if it "goes down with the flow of the folds". lead with the end of the brush handle.
Dont allow and shading stages to puddle even if it is devlan mud and the likes.
Lastly i would add a jeweling effect on the centre eye on his staff head piece.

I like his falling pages lots.

Love the skin. Red robes could be improved, but red is a tough color to master.
