This guy is small! and I can\'t get a good photo of him either!

No wonder, when he stands about 1/3 the size of a warmaster figure

Is this the smallest production mini ever? it\'s gotta be - certainly it has to be the smallest mini that comes in 5 (!) parts.

I think I killed my eyesight 10 years earlier painting and assembling this lil fella. He took me 2 evenings (about 5 hours work), and in the flesh I am quite happy with him. Thanks so much proph for the inspiration, the mini and an awesome standard against which to compare myself.

I can\'t see the eyes on him, even with a magnifier, but I soldiered on, and painted each panel NMM, just to show it was possible. I also managed the tac squad arrow and a blood drop attached to a wing on the other pad.

I had all sorts of ideas about how to convert him and base him etc., but when I realised how small he actually was I gave up and just had the best go I could at making him in an interesting pose and painting him as well as I could.

In a month or few I\'ll come back and paint the second one I am now the proud owner of, but for now this one will have to do! Here\'s the thing - I can\'t get a decent piccie. I have tried all sorts, everything I can think of, to no avail. grrr... I wanna post him on CMON, but without the photography he\'s useless in that sense. Any advice most needed here, I have a fuji finepix F100fd, a mini tripod, a light box and two daylight lamps (one very much more yellow than the other as you can see on the plinth in the pics). Please help!

I\'m sorry I didn\'t get a chance to photograph his base, I blended it rather than going freehand, and I think it shows him off well, anyway, you decide what you think.

Photos this size can\'t be easy...

Epic scale minis are indeed tiny. I was always inspired by Bobby Wongs http://miniature-art.tripod.com/home/id6.html
