An Open Letter...

My Fellow Painters,

You are talented. Very talented. You have every right to be proud of you miniatures, but do me a favor? You don\'t have to post every mini you have painted all at once. I love seeing your work, at times I am very inspired by it. What I don\'t like is seeing three or four pages of it whenever I am browsing the gallery.

There are those of us who would like to post pics also, and not have to crawl through so many pages to see our, or someone else\'s, pics. Save some of them for a later time, even a few hours would be a welcome respite to being bombarded by your stuff.

Pace yourself, that\'s all I ask.

~EJ!

We\'re not talking about a meagre handfull of artists plouging through pieces like there\'s no tomorrow lol

Although I can see where you\'re coming from, you need to understand this site hosts a hell of a lot of peoples work from all over the world ;)
If you want to see your submissions i\'d suggest doing a search using the tools at the top of the browse page. Or (and this is so much easier) , go to \"add/edit pictures\" on your toolbar. That\'ll take you right to it.

ElJacho.
Had this post come from someone with let\'s say ONE picture in his (her) Gallery I might have been more sympathetic towards your point of view.

However you seem to infer that the moderators who approve images don\'t either think or make decisions about \'Blanket new posters\' and communicate the same suggestion directly to them. This is not the case!

And while we do suggest to such posters that they will get better feed back for fewer and better pictures we do not automatically delete such large amounts of pictures as they do have the right as members to post pictures.

An open letter?

U is open.

O is closed.

Y is open, as is V and W.

That\'s all I can think of for now. There might be more.

All of the above...

???

(I think this thread train has just derailed)

As a sensible answer to the thread, if you look at the top right hand corner of every image. There is a big red arrow, it skips images. Just use your mouse/touch-pad/what-ever to press that. Ta-da! The offending image is gone, magic!

After that comes the difficult part, gaining peace with the world and your-self.

Now repeat after me, Ommmm!

I think what ELJacho was trying to make was that some people will put into their galleries umpteen pics of the same type of squads (or the same model) all at once.

this makes it annoying for people looking through the gallery list as page after page is sometimes just made up from a few people.

personaly i don\'t give a shit as i mainly inhabit the forum :D but i do understand what he/she is getting at.
