Everybody\'s pimping their Femme Fatale Entry and I want to be with the cool guys :D

I think she was an obvious choice for this contest - even before Nathan announced Femme Fatale I always silently sang \"The Succubus\" to me when I saw the mini....
I would be very grateful for any votes and/or comments.

*guitar solo* The succubus lives on your blood and your seed, a vision of hell she delights when you bleed.... *headbang*

Don\'t worry, your cool anyway! :)

I like the mood and the pale skin breaks of nicely agains the dress. The eyes however, as it\'s the focal point doesn\'t really work for me. I\'d try to darken the area around the eye to sepparate the whites more from the skin.

The skin tones are right on...

The dark purple works well, but the gold color just isn\'t popping out enough.

You improve with each mini you paint Mr. Mosch! Maybe its the twinkees.;)

To me there is a \'weakness\' I see in the mini in that there isn\'t enough variation in colour for the skin tone. It seems as if either the photo has toned all the values together or there isn\'t enought contrast between shadow and highlight.

I agree with Avelorn that the eyes could do with a stronger separation, and emphasis to give them an added punch.

Thanks everyone.

About the eyes: I tried outlining them in a dark brown and in a dark skin colour. Both made her look like a raccoon so in the end I just decided to keep it that way. I was kinda pressed for time too ;)

The gold... I feel it is far too yellow. I think I\'ll go back to GW metallics and the Metalizer paint I am growing fond of. However, I couldn\'t be arsed to paint the filigree all over again, it was hard enough the first time.

Variation in the skin tone... I\'m afraid that\'s because of the photo. I can discern the different colours just fine when I actually hold the model in my hand.
While we\'re speaking about the difference between picture and actual model, does anyone have an idea why the photo shows some white spots on the base which I can not see IRL?

Oh, and Vike, I have already eaten all Twinkies and Ding-Dongs, so be ready for a sudden improvement spurt :D
(And by the way, please message me when you get the German parcel ;))
