Anatomically (more) correct Librarian in terminator armour

Hi, Vincenti, got me started off on this after I saw his blood ravens terminator which he’d similarly corrected, so thanks to him for the inspiration, and advice.
It took some working up to, the damn thing being so expensive an all, but once I got the fret saw on the go it turned out to be a lot easier than I expected.
The problem, which I hadn’t really noticed till vincenti pointed it out, is that the guy has no abdomen to speak of what so ever.

I filled the resulting gap with green stuff, originally with the intention of going over it with superfine miliput to put in the detail. In the end the green stuff worked out so well that I decided to leave it. (I let it cure a good hour before I started to sculpt it).

I’m still in two minds as to whether or not to remove that huge book from the shoulder guard, and replace it with something more subtle, it’s a little too bling for my liking. Give me some feed back please.

Also included is the small conversion performed on Lysander, repositioning the original shield arm further away from the body, and the resculpting of the cables that was envolved.

Everything looks good to me so far.

No feedback on the book though as I\'m actually a fan of it. I like the \"over the top\" accessories for some of the more character based models.

Good work on Lysander too - I didn\'t recognize him at first.

Huh.....would have never noticed that if you hadn\'t mentioned it but now it\'s so obvious. Your \'extension\' makes it look real good.

really needed that correction. Cool bases too.
Not a fan of the book, get rid of it and do some cool freehand instead

Looing pretty darn good if you ask me !:wow:

As for the book,it is a bit chunky,so go for something else, make your guy even more unique ;).

Keep up the great work, cant wait to see them painted .

GOD bless .............VINCENTI

Thanks all, it might take me a while to go any further with either of these two as I\'ve got some other stuff to finish up first.
I think when I do find the time I will have a go at taking the book off, or maybe swap it for a more standard terminator shoulder guard, hmmmlol

Its a really weird model that one aye, I cant understand where games workshop went so horribly wrong, its not even close to being a decent looking miniature, and yet, if you see what people have done to it, its could have been a very nice piece.

I dont get why they are plastering models with great thick pieces of detail, especially if you look at the size and thickness of forge worlds stuff.

Wow, I knew he looked off when I was working on mine... I wish I had done that, it makes him look so much better.

You wouldn\'t have a link to the one vincenti painted would you? I loves my Blood Ravens...

No, he took it down after the ebay sale. PM him, I\'m sure he\'s got some pics up somewhere. or maybe he\'ll see this and hang them here. It was nice, he\'d used a different torso and sculpted the bloodravens iconography on to it, and used the forgeworld red scorpian captain head, looked real good.
