Results are in, although there seems to be a mix up with LOTR single, which may be wrong, because apparently Zordana (Irene) won bronze in both categories. I think I got silver.

Congrats trevor and everyone else (I think marcus ,Gav and Glenn were in there too) who won. I\'d like to also congratulate people who even made it to the finals. Great work one and all. I dont envy the judges picking a winner.

Trevor I\'ll have to pm you one day about the GD. Congrats to all once again.

Whilst the winning stuff is nice, there\'s some poor stuff floating around in there. It just goes to show how average normal painters are compared to the top lot. It\'s good to see both ends of the spectrum!

Yeah. Thanks for the links. I actually see some Lord of the ring miniatures that look good. I never really cared for them until now.

Lotr Single is actually wrong in that list. I won Bronze for both single and large. There was a mixup with the numbers in the store. Silly duffers :D

Wow that High Elf standard bearer is AMAZING :eek: - that has to be my favourite of the pictures from the links - beautiful colours on there... does anyone know if Leigh Carpenter has his own website? I\'d like to see more of his stuff - I\'m going to go browse CMON to see if I can find anything.

There were quite a few great pieces of work there. I actually preferred the wood elf figure over Leigh\'s elf. The Squig Hopper by Wereweevil was also deserving of a prize, the painting was smooth and it was a nice classic night goblin. The slayer sword winning figure was the stand out though.

Leigh used to have an account on this site but I can\'t locate it.

Not only did Trevor and Zordana win second and third in LOTR, the wronged party was Rob-Jedi, the winner in the category the last three years. Trevor\'s prize is even better since he painted the same figure as Rob.
