Andrea Colors

Hi,


I'm curios about Andrea Colors, and would like to try them, but I see 2 different lines of color and I have some doubts....


Are the color in the paint-set, the same ( with different names ) than the colors sold as Andrea New Acrylics? If not, which are the differences between the 2 type of colors?


I've tried to find answers in internet, but I've found nothing till now...

The paints are the same formula so there is no difference in quality between the individual colors and the color sets.

The color sets are a really great idea. Unfortunately, they execution was not well thought out...

Most of the colors in the sets are custom blended specifically for the sets and not available for sale individually. They do a great job, but once you run out of the base color (which will run out 3 to 5 times faster than the other colors) the set becomes useless since you can't replace the base color and they do not sell a color to replace it. You would have to use the other four colors to try to blend your own replacement for the base.
