Some more done going for cold colours across the board. Got a lot of free hand, gold, jewels to do yet.

I think you should its a great figure with one of the best faces that GW have done really moody and intense. Definitely suits a dark elf.

Between you Ten Ball and AndyG, you've made me want to dig a copy of this fella out an set to on him as well.

One of GW's best figures done nicely by good artists!

Excellent work all around. I have him too, if I remember rightly it was a free model GW gave away with the White Dwarf mag one month.

A lot of work on the cloak lots of subtle mid tone added and really trying to push the volumising contrast. Also gold and jewels done and a bit of free hand. Base next.

Very impressive contrast blends on the cloke mate.
I'm liking the freehand pattern but I think it needs more depth.

What about adding some of the gold to the freehand? Great mini by the way Andy. Make sure you don't pick him up to fast, that sword looks SHARP

Finished it gone for a cold slushy forest to compliment the cold colours on the mini. Messed about with the freehand and dirtied the cloak hem. Such a nice mini to paint GW just don't make em like that anymore ....well maybe the nurgle champion.

Big blue whale chap Lee got me from Euro started. Well I say started actually re-started as I made a mess of it last time. Just the very basics on the head loads of glazes etc to go and all the rest of the body. Jeez I hope I have enough blue!

Thanks! The line is Aradia miniatures and the mini is mawhi. I've got to say they can produce some very nice minis got another couple to paint up yet of theirs.

Liking the whale man the blue's you've done give a very aquatic feel even though he's on land
