Autism indeed is mainly just a label we use to understand things better and by understanding it better you'll all find ways to live it with it like you would with anything else and after a while the 'label' suddenly won't seem so scary anymore!!

Andy you're sounding a bit more "chipper".
I'm really glad that you are taking the positive with your son, after all he's no different than he was before and still loved as much.

im am really happy about the your mindset towards your son. One of the best things my parents ever did for me was to treat me exactly the way they did before the diagnosis. I can't express in words how much having a space where I could be myself and feel normal helped me when I was growing up, and like you said before, he's still the same person, hyoid just know why he acts in ceartin ways now.

Ok I picked up the brush again and I have carried on upping the contrast on the big fella also started on Pedra by figone using the scale 75 skin paints very pleased with them just the face started but I like it. Here's a further step comparison for Thor and a very early days set of pics on pedra.

Glad things are settling down for you and you've been able to relax a bit. The increased contrast on Thor really works well. It definitely makes the gold nmm more effective, but I think the highlights on the blue tunic add a lot to the overall look of the model too. Are you sure you didn't just repost ten ball's 'suggestion' pic?

Glad things are looking up for you, Andy, and that you're back in the painting chair. I'm sure you'll still have moments/days/periods when the challenges you're facing bubble to the surface again, but perhaps your recent experiences will give you confidence in your ability to overcome them. I certainly wish you all the best.
Thor is showing dramatic improvement, which is really impressive, given the level of quality you had already achieved. Certainly he's my favorite version of that model that I've seen.
