Uh, have you seen your progress so far? As Maenas said, your skin and NMM are magnificent, and this figure seems to be perfectly designed for you to do what you do best!
What do you mean, weeks? Christmas is almost upon us, and according to my time (GMT+1) that leaves you with just under 24 hours.
Chop-chop now, before the Winter's Solstice is completely over!
Cracking on with the nmm it's hard to do large scale nmm probably should have done TMM instead but I'm going to stick with it and see how it goes not too displeased with it so far.
Looks fantastic to my eyes. The work on the axe and armor on the leg are really excellent. Seeing stuff like this makes me think 'damn, I really should paint NMM'
Of course, then I try to paint it and think 'damn, I really suck at NMM'
Your beautiful metals are really starting to look very personal. I can identify your painting just by admiring the NMM! Your first finished mini of 2017 is looking like a real winner!
Well Christmas is out of the way so back to it again. Finished quite a bit of the metal (there are some more bits to do for sure but the back of it is broken) and I have made a start on the leather. Really quick and easy with the stippling splattering technique. Going to add some glazes and scratches to it and there is all the leather straps and stuff to go yet.
I really like how this one is going Andy! I love the colour contrasts and the diferent textures you have created are impressive. I think this guy might well turn out to be your best yet.
