heres my next project a scibor wood elf mage recomended by Dragonsreach; picked it up at Euro Millitaire. Just sketched in the skin tones needs more smoothing. Plus only got the iPhone with me today so not so good pics. Nice mini though.

Ha funny! The casting quality was ok certainly better than finecast. Just a bit of flashing and one small mould line easily paired. The transitions definition of the muscles is a bit harsh on the back but on the whole its a well sculpted mini.

Used my micro chissel I got from Euro millitaire. Jeez Louise its good at getting rid of mould lines but damn its sharp!

Any way done most of the painting here the eyes havent shown up on the photos but there glowing green.

Very nice work so far. Very original. Suggestion: some green chesthair will make a nice link in the model, and a nice challange.

Tried the chest hair looked like he'd been rolling in grass so back to normal.

Based him and took a photo, will put on submissions unless any one has any last minute cfomments.

I like him. I think you could go a touch higher on the highlites though, the greens just kind of meld together. Or paint a Medusa head on him:silly!:

Looks nice mate - if anything I would suggest to bring some of that reddish tint you have going on near the lower abdominals to the shadows in the other muscle groups too, possibly push the darkest shadows to black as well for more pop! I like the greenish yellow you've got on the base btw.

Out of curiosity, where do you get those nice wooden bases from?
