Nearly done the hammer bit more extrteme highliting to go also lightend the intersections on the lava.

Going to go with a either a timber wolf or leopard for the cloak.

Photos much brighter :) - Put a few pure white dots on the edges (only a few) it will really make the NMM jump out.

Going for a lava base?

Don't know either a scorched earth with cracks showing lava beneath with skeletons smashed every where. Or the base it comes with which is pretty damn doody with loads of smashed up skeletons and weapons. Dunno

Hey here is a thing does anyone have any Owl pellets? They contain little mammal bones which are the right scale for a diorama. Give you some money for them. Or if you know anywhere I can buy them from looked on eBay and only foreign sites so a good few weeks to arrive.

Great job so far. I would go with 10ball's suggestion and add some pure white bright spots. That should make that NMM more shiny and pop. :)

Right sketched in all sections of the boy now apart from the skeleton he's standing on. Lots of smoothing and glazing and washing to do as its a bit rough at the moment but all the light/shadow/colour placement is done. Not so sure wether to do tiger stripes on the cloak or leave as is.

At last, clear pics!! ( have the same nasty problem myself )

I must say, now that I see the colours properly, it's a good dam painting job!! Don't know about the stripes... I like as it is now and with the stripes it might be to much, to flamboyant.

One small thing: you might want to darken a bit more the inside of the cloak because as it is now it takes the attention away from the armour.

Well snow and lava bases have been done to death.

I love the base he ships with, either use that or make your own base in a similar style, corpse covered with bits from a majority of the warhammer races.

It looks sweet!! The base he comes with looks pretty neat. The only thing i do not like is the spears. Their height seems to hide the mini.

Ok started the base or as I call it HOW MANY F*****G SKULLS????????? Lol.

Nice wooden rosewood base, milliputed and stuffed with bark and the metal base.

I think painting the base is going to take longer than the figure! Going to keep the paint dull muted colours so Harry stands out. Realy thinking of doing the metal with TMM as I just cant be arsed NMM ing all the spears and swords on the base.

lol :D yeah, but you have to admit that is a great base! Are you keeping it more to the bluish side? It would be a great contrast with the mini
