Well Zab even more shiny now! Started the gold got the shading to do on it yet and some glazes. Can't tell you all how much of a relief it is doing something this size after all the big ones I've been doing lately. I've not got to think just do let my brush wander I'm actually enjoying painting again!

nice andy! :good:
i really think you should go for the next level and try to incorporate more different colors in the NMM, for example green in the gold, browns red and blue in the silver, etc.
would make it more interesting.

Cheers Mike Zab and Alex! Will do Stef gona glaze it methinks. Didn't really expect this to be one I would bother doing that with just a throw away painting practice one as a bit of light relief after the previous mammoth tasks but hey I like the way its coming out so why not!

I swear it's always the fun ones where we just play and "try stuff out" that end up being the best. And yet I still have a tendencey to over plan, over think and over work the vast majority of my minis :p

Arrrgh my eyes, my eyes, the base upon which it sits it makes them bleed.

Nice and reasonable "refresher piece" Andy, something small and 'throwaway' often refreshes after a series of complex figures and this is just RIGHT!

Contrast mate sit it on a piece of sh*te white dwarf magazine (it is in the toilet) and it looks far better; kinda like going out on the pull with your ugliest mate :)

Just cos I get called Tom Selleck's grandad at work! (He's ten years older than me as well)
Wouldn't mind being a penny behind him though!
