Inspiring armour, fantastic mate. If only you could get that effect on 28mm, that would be something. Congratz on a great bust.

Super work on the bust. You should be really happy how he turned out. I think the texture you got on the armor is especially nice. Best of luck with him at Euro!

Not really got a lot done recently a bit zoned out after the full on painting of the last few months not had a night off in about the last five months! So been taking it easy and just a bit of prep work on a very nice mini which I'm starting now. However did manage to take a shot of what I've done over those months and what I'm going to take with me to Euro I was amazed at the quantity to be honest! I think I'm going to need a bigger carry box!

Yep out of olive oil cheers meph shops on the way back tonight! BFK it's the griffon exorcist I had to take it off its base because it had wood worm! Little holes appeared all over it and small piles of sawdust. Freaky! Going to rebase it before Saturday.

That is freaky!!! Definitely rebase him as he has a lot of character. I'd still say that the elephant man is your Mona Lisa. Didn't it take prizes at Salute or something? I was new here at the time, but I vaguely remember you winning something with him. And of course the HassleFree Ogre is a personal fav. Don't know if you've enough time, but have you considered adding the focal point that was suggested on that piece awhile back? Treasure chest I think is what you'd decided upon. May give you that edge...

Regardless, wish I could be there to meet you fellas...good luck and Godspeed!!!!

Very nice lineup there Andy! Five months you say - I've completed four projects in the last year and consider it a productive period.

I take it that you can enter more than one thing into a category at Euro then?

BFK I'm upto the wire but I'm going to try and get the chest finished and also rebase the exorcist.

Yeah out of the toilet at last!

yep I entered about six pieces in the fantasy section last year one got a medal. As long as you pay your two pounds per mini it's all good! I've taken the throw everything at it including the kitchen sink approach. Hopefully something will succeed ;)
