Cheers lads he's a pleasure to paint if not a pleasure to assemble. I'm sticking pretty close to the box art here if only because it's the best damn colours 
some more done. Also I'm thinking of sculpting a bear skin for the throne one to make it a bit more barbarian and two to cover a multitude of sins on the piss poor casting. Anyway here's some pics.

Looks good! Nice and brooding. Maybe you could drape some Vallejo type ladies around to cover up the throne? Boris Vallejo that is. Maybe a black light poster??View attachment 32377

That's a great pic very frank franzetta! Decided against the bear skin mainly because my green stuff has gone off and I can't be arsed waiting a couple of days for the damn stuff to arrive through the post. So as I'm on a couple of days holiday I've managed to get a hit done during the day time. Gone for a green marble effect. Got a lot of tidying up to do and I've not touched the leatherwork yet. Also it's to shiny so I've ordered some Vallejo matt medium to take the shine off.

I stuck a shield under his foot as there was a gap so it kind of looked like he was easing a fart out, I was going to keep it and call the piece "the god in the toilet bowl " but I couldn't do that to conan
still got to do the shield some more up the glints do some battle damage etc and the miliput between the hand and bracelet needs painting. Going to do a name plate any suggestions?

I think you are becoming more bold with your highlights. Your confidence shows this with his skin and the two very well placed glints on the sword. Like it a lot!When I first got into painting, I saw this crazy tutorial from a company selling stencils to be used for sculpting different things. However, I found that the stencils weren't really needed, just follow along with the pattern and it'll come out just the Same. I'll try to find the pics I took of a bear head and wolf head cloak, but you'd have thought I was a master sculptor. All from simply being shown a template for making the sculpts. Is that green marble, or blue? Looks like the latter on my screen. Maybe it's "Sotek." Did you make the lines in the marble with VMC Whote glaze by any chance???
