I ummm... Don't mean to be a d**k... It could be because i'm on a phone but the inside leg on the first picture of the assault marine. <ducks for cover>. It could be just the high contrast way you've painted it and the angle it's at though.

Looking forward to see where this latest figure ends, I always have a problem to get feathers to look good. Looking forwards too see how you tackle that small problem. Also the marine looks very nice.

He lives. Damn... :)

Brother, I like the mini. It is right up your alley as far as your style is concerned. Would love to see some good basing on this guy. Take your time and show us your best scale modelling. Is he a smaller than usual scale? I really appreciate the camera angle from above as it is needed for a good look at him.

You guys got this all wrong. Andy my man is so good he paints mold lines into the figure just to mess with your heads.

Well a bit disappointed as I've still not found a mold line!;)

anyway bit more done the feathers I've just dry brushed and glazed nothing fancy seems to work though I'm going to re highlite and touch up with a few more glazes.

All done. A real pleasure to paint this lovely mini. The only down side (very minor) was the tinny size a very thin spindly 28mm I think.

-The green on the inside of the cloak works great because it makes it look very organic to the base.
-The transitions in the hair look great.
-With the circle on his head, I love how you edge highlighted the shadow side. Another way to make your NMM high contrast that is under utilized.
-Feathers came out great. Very natural and real looking.
-It does look like there are some areas of low detail on the sculpt. Perhaps some parts that didn't come out to clear in the casting.
