Made a start on the gold. He is going to be proper bling. When all the gold is done I’m going back over it with Celtic designs. Biggest free hand project I will have attempted bit nervous.

This guy is looking sensational, and your gold work is really nice already... with your brush control I don’t think you have any reason to be nervous about a little freehand !!! Now, I’m just wondering are you going to give the freehand a glow effect to make it look demonic? Cause that would look awesome

thats a load of bling for a demon! well executed, but i someway imagined him with a bit more banged up metal.

The shoulder guards are going to be bashed up a bit and there will be some slight colour variation. However the gold is a nice contrast against the red/purple shadow tones I felt.

Slight change of tack as hopefully Golden Demon is on despite the 1cm of snow that has ground the whole of the uk to a halt (I blame brexit) I have repainted Slambo as I was disappointed with the base and added some extra osl on the mini. A quick job but much better I think.

That shine on the left side of his gut-plate (his right side) just blows me away. That reflection in particular just looks o realistic...

Gotta say as I went through the posts I had to double check your Slambo because at first look I thought your display had LEDS causing it to glow.
