Thanks guys!

Yes I had an excellent time at Euro and I ended in the colurs Bronze! Very please with this as the standard was very high indeed. Met some lads from CMON and was very pleased for Mally who did very well with his dog bust (I wont steal his thunder so i will let him post what he got). Mike took a load of pictures so i will let him post them up. Shame Lee wasnt there but thats the way it goes.

Wow Euro seems so long ago and work has been crazy pulling seventy eighty hour weeks. Love my new job but I’m knackered been absolutely no time for painting until now. Hopefully going to GD in November so doing a duel. Aspiring sorcerer vs commissar. I liked the fact that they are mirroring each other’s poses. Going for a real eavy metal edge highlighting approach.

Great start on this, nice ruddy skin tones on the Commisars face. Look forward to seeing this develop and in the flesh at GD hopefully

Always impressed when someone can work on a section of a model to perfection whilst other areas are just primed.

Awesome so far!

I am impressed you are getting any hobby time in with those hours. When I was working that type of schedule my hobby time ground to a halt for several years.

I’m on holiday at the moment so I’m trying to blast out as much as possible as there’s no way I can paint when I’m back at work!

heres the latest bit of painting.

Yep they’re attached to the base alright. I like the bold colours but I’ve added light grey to highlight so as to desaturate. Here’s a bit more work done.

Looks great! When you grey it out, do you add grey to colored highlights or move toward grey itself as a highlight?

I love the electric sizzle on the sword!

Watcha mate rather than adding white to the base colour add a light grey instead it desaturates more and the colours aren’t as pastel.
