Well a couple of weeks on and the dust has settled. Very pleased with the bronze considering I only entered two pieces. Moved onto this great bust the necromancer loving the sculpt. Messing about with cool and hot tones and stippling for texture. Having fun.

Cheers Saint! Changed the eyes the other ones where good but they didn’t convey the evil magic and I think the bright red goes well as a spot colour. Made a start on the metal. It’s too big for NMM so TMM it is. More shading to go yet.

honestly, I think either of the eyes you did look great. the armor is looking particularly stunning, excellent shading on it helps

I think the choice of tmm was wise as the head is so smoothly blended that nmm armor would suggest that the head is approaching nmm chrome.

I applaud the first set of eyes, but I agree that the second, red evil glow, looks a lot better! Fantastic work going on here!

Sketched out the skull to get highlights etc in and done some work on the cloth still got some more to do on the hand and fine details to go but entering the final stretch. Not my finest mini but one of the most enjoyable to paint.

Wow, nice. I really like this bizarre little fellow. The red-blue color scheme on the head reminds me of (the much missed) FlunkUtron’s work. You’ve ably taken a weird mini and made it even weirder.

This is really brilliant. I think my favorite part for some reason is the wrinkles on the back of his neck, but I love the stippled texture for the highlights on his face.

Amazing... you've nailed the glowing eyes and gems(?) on his chest. They look perfect!
The armor looks amazing, and the way the skin blends between reds and blues is great.

Thanks guys yep he is a bit heretical but would be a great coach for a blood bowl team just keep raising any dead team players. Any way he’s effectively done now. I think I will take some proper pics of this one but here he is for now.
