Looks great. I like the texture on the skull. Highlight between the skull and forehead throws me off a bit, it looks a little off.

I love this, such a great job!
I wouldn't be surprised if his eyes keep glowing when the lights go out

Long time no post. Had a nice holiday to Malta so that was good and a trip up to see Lee and go to the Age of Sigmar comp. Then the mrs broke her leg so not so good!

But I paint on here is what I have been up to. NMM rust bloody difficult but I really like it, will be producing a piece about it for Saint Toad’s site. I have gone for a really grunge style homage to Blanchete

oh f*ck! i just love this miniature, i have both the 54 and 32mm versions of it. great work on it, not that much blingbling like most other painted versions ive seen of it.

also, sorry about mrs breaking her leg. sucks, hope for a swift recovery

Well I’m going to stick my head above the parapet here and say I don’t like Blanche’s stuff. Never have. Always thought it was slapstick, scruffy, dirty and badly painted.

That contention aside this piece by Andy rocks, it has grime, rust and atmosphere. As far as I’m concerned this is far,far superior.

I really like the cape as well. Love all the color and texture you get in the leather you paint! Really nice work on this one!

I know what you’re saying Mike it’s just that he takes me back to my childhood and he inspired me to play and without that I probably wouldn’t be painting now.

Now here we have a knight of the black rose hmm what could his name be?

All aspects of this model are out of sight. The metals are stupendous, and the drab colors set off his little ornaments perfectly. The shield is wonderfully restrained. I love it.
