Heya guys, I just posted up a newish mini.
He\'s been sitting on my desk for ages now but I finally got a little painting time in while Ava was asleep and managed to finish him up... though it took a while.

Hope you like him, he was a bitch to photograph. I ended up having to take him outside with a home made light box cause my stupid daylight globe lamps inside weren\'t cutting it. *shakes a fist*

Fantastic work. The base is incredible. If I were to stretch for some constructive criticism (and I need to stretch to find any) in the photo his skin appears a bit chalky. Even with that the highlighting is very, very well executed.

Great! But personally I would add a very dry drybrush of a light metallic to the edges of the metal.

misterjustin, I think the paint was a tiny bit chalky in parts. Iirc it was the final highlight colour that did it, I think it was rotting flesh.

squig hunter, I did try to highlight the edges a little with some light silver but I stopped cos I didn\'t want to overdo it and lose the dirty metal look i was going for.

Hinton, glad you got a laugh out of that. lol

Heh..., th name derives r a home brew orc culture I\'ve used in my D&D campaigns. The Angel\'s Advocate is supposed to be the one orc in the village who is responsible r coming up with reaons to treat non-orcs well. They igure they ight ned to on occassion, so they make one guy take the job. But since no one wants to be nice, he ends up getting on eveyone\'s nerves. The only ones who survive the position are the baddest orcs around...

(Yes, I run a lot o \"captured by the ba guys\" scenarios)
