Anima: Tactics

Anybody ever heard of Anima: Tactics? Cheryll and I are contemplating whether or not to get the starter packs (and, well play the game). Does anybody have some experience with the casting quality? How are the game rules (as in \"they work well/not so well\")?

By the way, here\'s a link: http://www.battlefield-berlin.de/shop/index.php?list=WG992
That shop sells the models if you want to take a peek.

Unlike Candyman you only need to say my name once for me to show up!

I picked up the game and I give it a solid B+.

The minis seem to be intelligently made meaning they are in parts but the assembly makes sense and does not seem overly complicated. The ones I got where almost free of mold lines and very well cast.

The Rules are pretty simlple a hybrid of Warlord and Warmachine. Models use action points to move, attack, cast spells, use abilities....the nifty thing is not all of these points comeback every turn. Attacks are simple as rolling a die adding a stat and comparing to a target number .

The starters are 20 bucks each and you get two models, the rules, tokens, and stat cards plus the blox is realy well made and very pretty.

The figures are roughly 10 bucks each, expensive but not so if you are use to buying Rackham, Privateer Press and other game minis.

I would llove to get more and play but with no LGS I am limited to what I can purhcase and play.

Thank you, that was very helpful.

We\'ll get the models - actually, we\'ll order them right now (along with a Bob Dylan mini for me! Go Dylan!). I\'ll get back to you when they arrive - I suppose I\'ll find access to a camera sooner or later too so you lot will get some pictures.

The minis are based on Wen-M\'s art. You can check it out at Deviantart.com. I\'ve been following Wen\'s work for a while and its amazing. You also get some good ideas on how u can paint ur minis.
