Animated Avatar( help needed)

I have an animated gif on my machine I want to use. I thought it was a case of just putting it into my account, but on viewing it doesn\'t work. Can anyone help me?

I think it depends on how big it is. The actual size that avatars can be on here is quite limited.

True, my tri-ryche is supposed to rotate as well and did fine in my sig. But just sits there in my avatar.

If you have troubles, I belive the lastest version of Photoshop can make animated things, so it\'s better to resize them there, otherwise it\'d wouldn\'t be animated....

5k max and 50 pixels wide.
I used the giff optimiser in psp7 to save the giff.Sure other packages do the same.
