Anime Model Kits (Not Gundam) - UK Stockists

Hi there,

Ive been scouring the internet looking for some kits for classic anime models for Appleseed, Akira, Ghost in the Shell etc. But my search is proving a little fruitless.

Do these things even exist? im starting to think not. I can find lots of pre made, pre painted items but nothing to assemble and paint myself.

Im in the UK so a uk stockist would be great, but if that's not possible any international seller with a good reputation would be fine.

So far just the one company listed on there E2046. I cant find the things im looking for on there though there are some nice models.

there are a lot of companies out there. though most of the good ones aren't in english. I suggest just typing "anime resin kit" into your google search bar. it should bring up lots of choices. And several of the companies have logo-tie-ins/hotlinks to other companies. Animeshop and Hobbyfan are just two examples.

What sort of kits are you looking for in particular? HobbylinkJapan has a few (literally three) GiTS mecha kits. And E2046 has some GiTS and Appleseed resin kits, mostly preorder though.

The challenge with getting anime-specific resin kits is usually timing. You either have to preorder or snag 'em when they are available.

After looking round ive actualy decided im just going to pick up some Gundam from HLJ Probably wont see them for 6-8 weeks as most things are on a lead time.
