Well, I finally did it, I got a website without banners! Announcing to the mini painting world:

It\'s basically my old site now, but I will overhaul it.. I\'ve hit a major snag, though: the blogger tammy uses isn\'t working for me

So if you do manage to read this, please tell me what you did because I\'d hate to do this the old fashioned way.. It may have something to do with the browser I\'m using, so please tell me that, too if you could.. Thanks!

Oh, and one more thing:

Great site, Chrispy. Isn\'t it great to get away from the great evil T? I did that a couple of years ago and have never looked back. Apparently it\'s gotten worse since I was there, also.

Which service did you go with?

I went with 1and1.com.. I\'ve never heard of it, but the package deal I got was $4.99/month and the domain was free! I only wish their pay dates were different, I\'d rather pay for 2 years up front than every 6 months. I got 500 MB, and 5 GB bandwidth which i guess is good for such a small site.. I also got 50 emails and I was wondering if I could sell them off... but then who\'d want yourname@fireofchispy.com? Oh, well...

I checked out your Bio section and was surprised! Here I thought I was the only person I knew who listens to Delerium. Of course I live in Hokeytown USA so maybe it\'s just the wrong area.

Also, I liked your section on your ideal girl.. Good Luck with that! But it did make me think how I would want my ideal man... hmmm, tall, lean, bluish eyes, likes to wear black leather trenchcoats, long white hair, and wants to destroy the world... Oh! Ooops, I guess I shouldn\'t be staring at my Sephiroth statue....

The problem seems to be the ftp won\'t let it upload any files, even when I gave it my username and pass, so it can\'t make an index for any of the posts. Not even text is getting put up...
