Alan Moore wrote that one, didn\'t he?

I remember reading it years ago. It was very good. I\'ll have to dig it out to give it another go.

Wake me up when Hitman comes to the big screen. I\'d especially like to see the Zombie Aquarium done as a film.

Although V isn’t quite the sacred relic of comic writing that Watchmen is (and I pray that’s never LXGed - that would be a crime against litterature!) it’s one of my favourites, and I’ve been fearful about how this would turn out.

I barely dare think it let alone say it, but it actually looks quite good. All my digits are firmly crossed that this could be the first decent film based on Alan Moore\'s comics.

Mr McTeigue seems to have got the look right with all the good visual elements of previous projects he worked on - like The Matrix and Dark City - on display. I still dread seeing what the Wachowskis have done to the script after they managed to disappear up their own arseholes with Reloaded and Revolutions though. Moore’s original text has so much meat to it; they could really damage it beyond recognition.

At least they didn’t go for Harrison Ford to play V as initial rumours suggested, that would’ve been definite death for the film.

Yep, it\'s Alan Moore.

Not sure why you\'re giving the thumbs down, though. lol

I don\'t know why either...I certainly didn\'t mean to...

I just noticed that onced you click one of those Icons, you can\'t \'turn it off\', only select another one. Wierd...

I thought it might have something to do with the quality of previous attempts to bring Moore\'s work to the big screen. lol

More Moore...

Ah...I see. Although \"From Hell\" was incredibly good....\'The League of Extrordinary Gentlemen\' had its moments...

What else of his has made it to the big screen? Haven\'t they been trying to get \'The Watchmen\' for ages?

Watchmen is in limbo from what I understand; Paramount had it but I heard they have backed off. That\'s one that, if it gets made, I fear for. :)

From Hell...the movie was ok, but nothing compared to the book. LXG, I can\'t say I found in the slightest bit \'decent\'. Had it been called something else, perhaps... :)

I always associate Moore with John Constantine and Swamp Thing as well...and the movies of those franchises, while not based on Moore\'s work, are certainly less than stellar.

She\'s in like her second year at Yale, isn\'t she?

*edit* according to IMDB, she\'s 24...so yeah, I reckon that\'s old enough
