Does anyone know where I can find old UK Golden Demon award pics can be found? I am particularly looking for a diorama tha had skeletons, and enforced perspective, plus a mirror to make a corridor to look longer....

Any ideas/memories?

I\'m having real problems finding this diorama, all i know is the description above and that it was entered 6 or 7 years ago. I looked on the first link, but it didn\'t appear to be there, so if anyone recognises it, let me know please!

Good grief girl, 6 or 7 years ago!You\'ll be very lucky to find anything from around that era.
Tammy Haye might be able to help but she\'s still away from work until the 5th of January.

I think Shaz that your best bet would be to ask someone nicely if they have any old Golden Demon books from when GW used to produce them.

I have two in the garage somewhere if I remember in the morning I will try and find them and have a look for you.

Although I do not remember any use of mirrors I vaguely recall a good Skeleton paint job.

Like I said I will have a look but don\'t hold out on my help alone.

Thank you guys, its actually for a friend who used to work in a shop in Essex where it was displayed, but he can\'t remember the name of the artist, or exactly how long ago it was.

Sorry shaz...

I have looked in all the areas which I can access but can\'t find a reference. I am almost certain I will have it somewhere as I have an embarassment of miniature books. Unfortunately, most of them are packed away in boxes ready for me to move. I will try to keep in in mind however, when I get my hands on them again.

Hmmm...

I think I might treat myself before then...:D I have been in the process of moving for over two years so I have stopped putting things off now....
Hopefully my house sale completes on the 6th January so then I can start looking for a new gaff. Fingers crossed:D

Shaz,

I have had a look through the books I have in the garage but unfortunately I have a gap between 1990 and 2002, which means I have not found anything.

In the 1989 Fantasy Miniatures Citadel Annual there is a Diorama by John Blanche with undead (skeletons battling on a bridge but I don\'t think this is the one you are after although I do know that GW/Citadel used to pass the Diorama\'s by Studio Staff around the different shops in the ealy days.

I have some issues of WD to try for you yet so I shall keep looking, also it is possible that this diorama might appear in one of teh army bboks for undead , have you tried that avenue yet?

I don\'t wargame at all (and never have), I paint for pleasure and the occasional roleplaying character, so I don\'t have any of these books :(

Thank you for loking every body, and if anybody finds it I will be very grateful!

You don\'t really need to wargame to own them I find them very good for reference work as well as some insperation at times, but maybe that is the old wargamer that is still in me.

I think the last time I actually played Warhammer was when the Supplement Orcs Drift was on the streets and 40K was still known as Rogue Trader (oops didn\'t mean to show my age then), now if I do game its Warmaster or Historics and the 2/3rd edition Epic (I think they are on 4 now?).
