Hi everyone, this is my latest piece, a commission based upon my CMON contest entry, but changed to be more Mordheim inspired.
I spent some extra time on the base, which I think came out pretty cool. I also painted the emblem from the back of the Mordheim rulebook on the cloak, and added some extra twin tailed comets to the base, and plenty of skulls, hehe, you can\'t have enough skulls!
THe most time consuming thing though, was the bird...it\'s freakin tiny!

A very nice piece but not quite as smooth as your usual stuff. Still not far off a tidy 9. Commission like you said...more of a job than a labour of love? :innocent:

Looking good! :)

I\'m slightly bothered though that the freehand emblem on the cape doesn\'t look to be entirely straight in angle. The upper \"T\" is not in line with the downpart, the plint of the emblem so to speak. Could be the picture a bit though.

Cheers guys, the key is from the Flaggellant sprue. About the smoothness...hm, I don\'t know what you mean exactly, maybe the pics are to big, hehe. Metallics are always a pain to photograph \'cause they always end up looking more flat then they are.

The emblem is supposed to be a bit wonky, due to the style of the Mordheim iconography, and the cloak is very creased just there, but it\'s a fair comment.

Not loving of the face but that\'s more to do with his expression than your painting, which is sublime as usual.
I am loving of the base though - awesome. I love models that detach from scenic bases so they still have that air of individual figure rather than just display piece.
