Wonderful work on this one. I really like the fact that you did a bit of additional highlighting *around* the eyes; that\'s a great touch. You also managed amazing results with one of the more difficult colours to highlight without it going to pot. The NMM is well defined and the piece has movement without seeming silly. BRAVO!

Someone asked me on how this one was painted so I thought I might aswell post it here.
Colours used:
-midnight blue
-enchanted blue
-tentacle pink
-shadow grey
-codex grey
-fortress grey
-skull white
-blood red
-blazing orange
-golden yellow
-badmoon yellow
1. From a whit undercoat I painted the minature with heavily waterdown midnight blue, this would be the darkest areas of the model, seperating the armor pieces etc.
2.The armor areas where then painted with a 50/50 mix of midnight blue and tentacle pink, this was built up by adding more tentacle pink and also a bit of white for the final highlight.
3.The grey cloth was a mix of 50/50 shadow grey and midnight blue, adding more shadow grey and then use the grey on it its own and add white for the highlighting.
4.The blue cloth was midnight blue then build this up by adding enchanted blue until pure enchanted blue, thne add a bit of white to this for highlights.
5.The NMM areas where done by starting with 50/50 codex grey and midnight blue, I then used codex grey, to fortress grey then adding white to the fortress grey and a small bit of pure white, i also used very waterdown midnight blue to darken some of the areas.
6. The face was done with codex grey then fortress grey and finally white.
7.From white the eye was built up from blood red to blazing orange to golden yellow then badmoon yellow with a touch of whit to finish, the glow was add by using heavily water down golden yellow which was gradually built up i also used heavily water down white aswell to try and blend it nicely.
