answer to making putty dry faster

i have been sculpting today for long periods, and i was actually trying to find a way to prolong milliput\'s workability when i went and did the opposite by mistake. i thought that cutting off its supply of oxygen would stop the drying reaction, until i found that it sped it up. i placed the mixed putty into a sandwich bag, pushed out all the air and tied the end up. one hour later i went to see if it was still workable and it was as hard as a rock, just thought i would share that with you guys- giving advice rather than taking it for once. :D

Far as I know the reaction is internally-catalysed and independent of oxygen (since you can harden GS under water). What I\'m guessing this did was allow it to get warmer, which speeds up the curing process.
