Details to the Loin cloth? Or just going to leave it for freehand ?

Something is wrong with the Loin Cloth... not sure what... maybe it looks too static? I don\'t know... still 100 times better than something I could produce :p NOT a sculptor :p

eheh, yeah i\'ll try to remember thx ;) But i\'ll have a good camera saturday then i don\'t think it\'ll happen again ;)

I made some intricate details on the loin clothes, but there\'s an empty part on the middle of it so freehand is still possible :D (for everyone to be happy^^)

It\'s very static yes, but i chose a static pose and had to stay static :)
I think i\'ll do at least another of these guys (maybe a squad... :p) and now i\'m more confident with the subject and my skills, i\'ll try to do something very dynamic (running or jumping, dunno^^)

Well, not sure it could cast well, some parts are very thin. And by the way, i think it\'ll be wise to wait for the head :)
But hey, if someone wants to cast it, just let me know^^

i removed it, some ppl told me it was useless, don\'t think so, but i only received some 3 or 4 in votes and no comments, so now i agree it was useless...

Well, thank you for your support ;)

The weapon is now finished i\'ll post the pics as soon as possible.
The mini is in the hoven at the moment ;)

I hope i\'ll sculpt a great head to go with it ;)

Please, please, please, kowlown, don\'t stop posting pics of this mini! It is absolutely NOT useless; you\'re sculpting skills are undeniably excellent! And the fact that you posted WIP shots of this piece from the very beginning is such an inspiration and so helpful to me. :) Thank you so much, and look forward to seeing more! Maybe WIP pics of the head? ;) hehe

Don\'t stop posting pics in this thread Michael, it\'s great to see how you progress through each stage

people were probably moaning \'cause you posted an incomplete mini for voting on. I would assume they were inferring it was \'useless\' voting on an unfinished mini
This is the right place to get any feedback, when it\'s complete then you list it for voting, hope this helps

Weapon is now (quite^^) finished!
I\'ll add some little pendants near the blade but i\'m waiting to see how i\'ll make the helm for this.

Thx for all your kind comments :)

PS: the details on the weapon are a little less crisp and precise than on the body in picture, but it\'s ok in real i think. X10 picture is always revealing those things :)

WOW this is really coming along great work. What sort of face will he have the snarling type or compsed. Both will change the mood of you figure immensly.

Anyway love it keep the pics coming.

My only comment would be not to post it for voting until you have finished. SOme people are VERY anal about WIP stuff in the voting links.

I am not a sculpter so couldn\'t even think of where I could give advice other than to say that I think it looks very good.

Yeah , saw this :)
Just wanted to get some comments/feedback about this wip, for example by cmoners not checking the forums... but the only thing i had was some 2 and 3 :)
Plus some PM almost insulting me :)

Now i know wips are for the forum only^^

Here are some pictures of the beginning of the head i\'m doing right now.
Pictures are very big, but keep in mind the head is only (less than) 7mm high from the base of the neck to the top of the ears!
I\'m currently working on detailling/correcting some details then i\'ll put it on the body, sculpt the neck and then add teeth and the ankh pendant.





Hope you (still) like it :)

Well, my brand new camera already broken :flame: here are some pics taken with the old one (no macro mode...)
The head is now almost finished, i\'ll add teeth and then the helm.:cussing:

The head is now on the shoulders :D
I\'m currently sculpting the neck then i\'ll add the crown and pendant.
