Morning all. I'm new to the hobby now. I did paint a few bits a few years ago but now I'm getting into it properly as I've moved house and now have the room. I would welcome any tips about the hobby. At the moment I have Games Workshop Space Marines painted as Ultramarines. Only 1 model finished so far (except for decals), I have posted a photo on here for you to see. also have a HQ, Tactical Squad, Assault Squad, Terminator Squad and a couple of other figures to build and paint so watch this space :alien:. Also I love making scenery so I will have photos as and when I get some done

Welcome aboard.

A random Top 10

1-Paint what YOU like
2-Keep paints thin
3-Work on multiple figs so things that need to dry, can dry
4-Every time you do something you've done before, try to do it a little better
5-Take good care of your paints and your brushes
6-Good light
7-Comfortable chair. Take care of your back
8-Good music
9-Spend the time to prep the figure for paint - Assembly, seams, smooth surface, quality prime
10- FINISH the figures !

Skel is the exception. He has demon blood flowing through his veins that make him 100% talent and skill.

Nah that was the Garlic flavouring mixed into the baked beans he ate last night.

But to be truthful you are well respected, we just don't show it much. We Brits are a sarcastic bunch after all!
