I\'m looking for some good metallic metal recipies using VGC or VMC. Any suggestions would be great thanks.

Honestly, I still have my old old old Citadel metallics and haven\'t bought many of the VGC ones. In my experience, they just require way too much shaking.
That being said, I\'ve heard that if you mirror the idea of painting with NMM, you can create a much richer texture using metallic paints. Try starting off with a very dark shade of the metallic you\'re trying to achieve, and work your way up. I haven\'t tried any recently, honestly. Only recently weened myself away from using black washes on big flat surfaces. Guess I\'m turning into a paint control freak.

Its proved a goldmine as yiu can also use it to develop your own techniques from it. My GD entry for Chicago this year uses a variant of his technique extensively and while I may not have master it to Mr. Nielsen\'s level, it does certainly leave a nice effect.
