Any interest in Vintage WFB?

I am wondering what people think about the saleability of some vintage Warhammer miniatures. I have a ton of old orcs & goblins, dwarves and some humans from the early eighties. I have a lot of war machines as well. This includes Scarloc's Woodelves, Harboth's Orc Archers, Menhil Manhide's Dark Elves and Prince Ulthar's Imperial Dwarves.

I'm considering selling them on ebay for a few bucks to fund purchasing new GW miniatures, kits....etc. The catch is that they are all painted to a crappy level (I was just a kid) and would need to be stripped by anyone remotely serious.

I'm not sure if people collect the old stuff or not and wanted to gauge interest, or your perception of others' interest. The old orcs are little and look awful compared to the new, so I can't imagine anyone wanting them for gaming.

What think you all?

Well............
On a collectors side the older stuff being Out Of Production does have a certain appeal, especially if you have complete sets of stuff that is long OOP.
However individual pieces do also have their place in that,we older collectors who dream of the Halcyon days of GW's production being aimed at hobbyists instead of at profit margins, are often tempted in to their purchase.

If you think that the paint jobs are not helping the sales, a quick strip job (ooh-er missus) leaving the minis as clean as possible can't hurt.

Thanks, I suppose I'll get some of that simple green and give them a soak. I'll let everyone know when I post it on ebay.
