Any of you fellow Southern Californians feel the Earthquake this morning?

4.7 centered 8 miles north of my house (between Lake Elsinore and Corona), damn near knocked me off my feet. I was just telling my neighbors who are from Missouri and Alabama that this is quake weather. Then at about 2pm this afternoon the sky turns black and dumps a TORRENT of the biggest nastiest raindrops i\'ve ever seen in So Cal.

LA had 2 tornados touch down yesterday, these werent midwest tornados by any means, but we dont get tornados in So Cal ever so even a small one is made into the news of the century.

I did, but out here in coastal OC it was just a little jolt. It was just enough to interupt me trying to go back to sleep. : )

The only tornado I\'ve heard of touching down in OC hit a mobile home park. lolololol It was only scary because that was across the street from my tract. It only lasted like 20 seconds or so, though.

Last Sun. in Hunington Beach was crazy. The weather changed every 20-30 minutes from blazing hot to raining, to cold and windy to overcast to blazing hot and raining, . It was wierd for about 2 hours.

I understand it\'s related to the hurricane in the gulf of Mexico, but it reminds me of the saying, \"in SoCal, we have no weather, Mother Nature just has moodswings\". And my favorite, \"In SoCal we have 3 seaons, hot, cold, and fire\". : )

Hope you and everyone you know are OK.

I haven\'t heard of any damage locally so thats a good thing. It was a pretty strong kind of rolling motion here. I just hope it wasn\'t a foreshock for something bigger to come.

The tornado were behind my neighbors house. and we didn\'t have power after them yesterday and most of today. Let\'s see if we have any tomorrow

If you live in S. Cali for any amount of time you start to realize that weird weather often precedes big earthquakes.

High humidity in the summer, freak heat waves in the middle of the winter, spikes in violence among the gangs.

Add all that to a full lunar eclipse and you have bonified easrthquake weather......

wait.....

didn\'t we have a full lunar eclipse a few days ago?......

I think we\'re in for the Big One!
