Yeah, that\'s a bit excessive for a clock.
I understand the novelty value, but really the novelty wears off, and at that price...it better give ....ahem.... it\'s too expensive for a freakin\' clock is what I\'m saying.:D

It aint novel, it\'s quirky :)
A typophiles dream, wake up to Helvetica, Bodoni and Reporter! All mixed in with Gill Sans (I think, but it\'s extended) and Agincourt!

If only I had the money.

If I had that clock I\'d give you 800 pounds just to throw it in the bin and you could then go buy your own.....or keep it yourself and pocket the money.

Still....I imagine the world would be a boring place if we all liked and hated the same things.

And when you convert it to our north american currency, it\'s somewhere
around $1600...

That large clock better be as big as my TV set, or something...

Its $1600.16 to the penny.. hey the dollar gained about $.03 cent to the pound

anyhoo for that price it better do more than tell the time.. something anything..

you could buy a cheap laptop and download a program that does that, for cheaper, (or get someone to make you the program).
then just hang the laptop on the wall, people will think it\'s a novelty clock..that has the internet

lol yea.

I\'m just hoping a high street chain will make similar versions now at a more sensible price. Say 5% of the originals price, then there is a good chance i could get one.

JFC! That\'s insane. I understand someone thinking it\'s nifty, but do you know that clock only costs $10 to make including materials and assembly time? That is ten dollars, not 10 pounds...which is like 5 pounds. Ok, it might actually cost $20 if it\'s not factory produced.

That price is totally BLEAPING retarded. Seriously is it a joke? As has been pointed out, you can get a high def plasma TV of a very nice size for the same price. Or a laptop, or a PC or a freakin\' used car or a horse or or or...

Matty, you should design your own and sell it at %5-10 of their cost and put them out of business. Not that I expect them to sell any of those clocks anyway. If someone bought me something so overpriced I think I\'d have to sell it and use the profits to hire a company to teach them what they did wrong with their money.
