Any ornithologists in the house?

Was wondering if anyone would be able to identify this bird (zebra finch?) I saw outside work one Saturday recently:

It was surprisingly \'tame\' (not a big zoom on the camera I was using) but I dont\' know if that was because it\'s used to people or because it was injured maybe.

It had a ring on one leg which you can just see from this angle:

Definitely a male zebra finch. Most likely escaped from somebody\'s aviary, they are common pets but are native to central Australia - he must be a bit cold!

Thanks!

Yes, I think he might have been a bit cold (it was a chilly morning). Could have accounted for him being a bit sluggish.

How about a couple of Great Tits? :

@ Enion - If you could catch that finch, you could probably return him to a pet store. Since he\'s banded, he should be tracable to either his owner or the store he was sold from. He really shouldn\'t be left in the wild since it\'s not really his climate and could die over the winter months (and he\'s not a native species either!)
