Any recomendations for minis you had fun painting?

Reaper\'s and spyglass\'s succubi are really tempting to paint, as are Rackham\'s Fiannas.

One way to find something interesting to paint is to go through the concept art of some companies. Or browse Elfwood (elfwood.lysator.liu.se) or Deviantart (www.deviantart.com) to find an pic you like and then search for a mini to match it (or a mini in which you can actualize the potential of a pic you find).

Though I play Tau and Dark Eldar, my favorite model range would have to be eldar. Just about everything can be given a crisp, clean paint job, which I love. In particular: The Warlocks, Farseers, Banshees, and Fire Dragons. The only models I don\'t particularly enjoy are avatars and warp spiders.

Tau are fun too, fire warriors are great fun. Ethereals would have to be my favorite, though.

Well I am really enjoying painting the Harbinger of the North right now. He\'s huge as far as humanoid figs go, and very good practice on the old muscled flesh.

trust me man! from past expreiance the best minis to paint, are ones youve converted your sefl and put alot of time, effort, and love into getting the minature just how you want it!!! have a look at some GW art, or use your own inspiration and create something really special, and you will really enjoy paiting it more than anything youve done before, trust me! its great fun!!!

the mini i had the most fun painting was the defiler. it was one of my first...so its not a well dont job. but it was soooo much fun!
i plan on getting some goblins and orc since they look like alot of fun since they have so much character!
