Anybody pick up Forgeworld stuff at GD?

Hi, I was just wondering how many Cmoners managed to pick up some of the dirt cheap Forgeworld stuff at Gamesday (that is if you could actually get to the counter) by the end of the day a lot of the busts and other collecters figures were going for a quarter of the normal price, (Kal Jericho bust £5 anyone?). I managed to get one of the 40k Ork warlord Busts for £10 but thats all the had left that i wanted. So anyone pick up Aything good?

Man when I attended Gamesday in Chicago, I didn\'t think anything was discounted (price wise)....

I sure hope you all took advantage of that!

Gilead, Malus, Comissar, Hormagaunt, Space Wolf, Orc Warlord..... Definitely worth the absolute hell of the rest of the day :)

Edit: Oh, and I bought a bunch of the new SM plastics and flogged them on Ebay for a very tidy profit:D

Not Forgeworld but I did get the new Space Marine Command squad and the chap completely forgot to charge me for the Space Marine Commander so a result there.
I made my escape from the counter before he had chance to realise. :D:D:D

Hahaha!! Good work T2x4 (sorry, this is your new tag...:D). Bet they didn\'t notice it in all the hundreds of thousands they made though......

Meh.

I want some new stuff too, before or just when it\'s released.

But no, once something is released it takes weeks to get to this rock.

Yeah, I didn\'t hear FW had been selling discount stuff untill I got onto the coach to go home :(

I think the reason they were doing that is that they have discontinued some of their lines (some of the busts and collectors series) as they don\'t sell as well as their other stuff

Bah! I didn\'t realise they were selling stuff at a discounted price. I (foolishly) assumed it was just regular stuff at regular prices so bypassed the stall altogether...

... mind you, I doubt I\'d have had the stamina or willpower to queue

Well basically I was asking WTF was happening to the prices and was told all the Busts are being Dropped!

Only just bought the Ursakar Creed in Feb for £30. $%^%%$^ .
However I got the Kal Jericho after it was dropped to £5.
Saw a few bits, managed to get a decent pic of a new Tyranid that Simon Egan has been working on, and the new Fortifications. Solely for people with more money than sense, as the display version wobbled badly if the table was touched.
(£625 who are they kidding!!!!!!!!!)

I\'d read somewhere that it\'s a biotitan. Not like I\'d actually buy it any year soon, but if I were to buy any high dollar item from Forge World, a biotitan might be it.

@ Tuubje: I saw A dragon (dunno whether it was a chaos dragon) that was \'in progress\'. It was being sculpted in Plasteline, was f***ing huge, and still had a bit of work to be done on it. Very impressive though. Sorry no pics :(

Yes! They are making a chaos dragon! It is soooo Gribbly!!!!!!! :D I wants it sooo badly!!!!

Its in the FW seminar, second row down, third pic in. It has two heads, and the neck is sculpted to look like its split down the middle to make two necks. The stomach has another gribbly looking mouth , and there is a smaller mouth on the left side of the chest. There are lots of cool details where the flesh is showing under the skin. It is going to be a pig to transport thought, the tail is very thin and not supported as it sticks up in the air. Errr Did I mention I really want one?! ;)
