Anyone been to Barbados, W.I. or Puerto Rico?

Hi Everyone - looking to take a vacation this summer (it\'s mine and Grumb\'s 15th anniv.) and thinking of going to either Barbados, West Indies or Puerto Rico.

Basically, it\'s a short flight from Atlanta and there are BEACHES! Been checking the net for places to stay, but thought I\'d check around here and see if anyone has been to either place and would/would not recommend hotels/villas, etc.

My vote goes strongly for Barbados.

I have a few friends that have been, and they\'ve never voiced anything about their trips that wasn\'t positive to the Nth degree.

Well me and the misses were supposed to go to Barbados on our honeymoon in November, but we ran into a little Tropical storm and had to cancel that port. We ended up going to ST. Kitts, which is in the West Indies and we were not that impressed. It seemed to be really poor. We really wanted to go to Barbados as its supposed to be very pretty. I would vote for that.

Vegemite is a horrible tasting Australian Paste that you put on crackers or Bread..
