Anyone do painting lessons?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone in the newcastle area (UK) did painting lessons.

I started painting around a year ago, and with help from the local games workshop got to a ok standard, but i still feel that i am a \"new\" painter.

The problem is I think i have reached a level and i have got stuck, i am finding hard to improve on my own and was hoping to find a mentor to take my skills to the next level.

I started a night goblin and even with just some advice on colour mixes i have been given the drive again to try and improve, so far its turning out ok.

So anyone able and has the time to help me take my skills to the next level ?

Would be most grateful.

I do belive that we have a number of Newcastle members here. One thing you can do on your own is read the articles on this site and others.

I still get back to Newcastle occasionally as my Dad still lives in the Ryton area. Can\'t guarentee being there for a little while and when I am up there I\'m usually intending to spend time with my dad.

I did talk about doing an online painting thing but it didn\'t seem to meet with too much interest so I decided not to do it here.
I am currently running one for lotr minis on the one ring website that seems to be going down well.
I am also thinking of doing something along those lines on my forum but I need to get the one ring class finished first.

Hmm online painting lessons could be very handy, when do you think you would be starting that tidoco ?

Ohh I glanced quickly at that thread just today provoke, so I can still join in with that...... OSL is something I really need to learn too.

thanks for the pointers, just find sometimes when I try to work from online articles I just dont seem to get it right, always good to get feedback and help

i had a good read through it arma tim explains it and provides step by step pics then the other people have a go then post pics discuss then move on to next stage
