Anyone from LA?

Hey thats kool enough for me 
just was wondering... and i\'m in about the same boat as yrret know people but rarely play much. I paint mostly now but i know we will be trying to get a game of mordhiem going soon. Also i belive there will be a Game convention coming up in febuary, not quite sure though. If ya want to get a group togeather somtime just to meet i think that would be killer.
p.s. sorry if i came off like a \"mean guy\"

Hey , i may be able to help you out.
I am a gamer from the Mid-Whilshire area near the La brea tar pits, which is very close to you if you live in Hollywood.
I play Warhammer, paint minis and play dungons and dragons as well.
the only problem is that i go to a military academy (united states merchant marine academy) in new york so i am home only at certain times.
I dont know if this helps you any, i have also been looking for a gaming group in the area for some time (when i was living in LA) but to no avail

I\'m in the LA/Culver City area.
I tried gaming but I found I don\'t have the time (barely have time to paint) but I did find a local club that plays mostly GW games. They meet monthly in Monterey Park and Los Felis(?). If anyone is interested, please PM me and I\'ll forward their contact info...they\'re a great group, very patient with newbies (which I am) and are active with local (\"local\", right) GW outlets and events (they had a table at the last Gamesday).

As an addition to this thread...are there any Confrontation players in the LA area. I\'m just curious about how difficult that game is to play. The skirmish size appeals to me (easier to paint a field-able army).
Are there clubs, upcoming conventions, events? featuring Confrontation here in the LA area?
