Anyone got a good was to paint parchment?

With GW paint please? Parchment like in scroll and stuff.

When using GW paints I use: First paint the whole area Snake Bite Leather, then work Bleached Bone into this, And paint the whole area again 1 part SBL to 3 parts BB. Then add a drop more BB into the mix and leave a thin strip of the last stage in the middle. Keep working BB into the mix and paint further towards the edge of the parchment. Finaly add a couple of stages using Skull white and apply this to the VERY edge and hey presto parchment.

i pretty muc do the same. maybe sometime i\'ll paint it skull white and add a small amount of thinned down chesnut ink. but i use the old style stuff. i think the new stuff in the screw top bottles is to dark or something. just dont like the finish. and then i would pint up the highlights
