Anyone got any good tutorials on painting realistic food?

Question i am in the midst of painting halflings and the guy i am painting it for wanted the main theme of the shields to be food.
So i was wondering if anyone know of any good tutorials to paint various food from drumsticks to cheese in freehand, what colors to use and such?

don't know of any tutorials, but if you find a picture of what you want you could always use Reapers Power palette (https://www.reapermini.com/PowerPalette) to help with the colors. Granted it will only give you Reaper colors, but you should be able to closely match those with stuff you have from other lines.
