hey everyone...just droppin\' a line to see who posts minis here that is livin\' in fairbanks...i need to meet up with someone who can help me take some decent photos of my minis...after seein\' so many cool studio photos of my work from the companies i\'ve painted for, there is no way i can post my horrible ghetto photos of my personal stuff...
so if you paint minis, and live around fairbanks, drop me a line...

dude those are some seriously cool dreads you got goin\' on there. i sadly live in indiana so i cant help you there. but check out some of the articles on cmon and they can help you quite easily. its always good to have three sources of light. so i would start there.

I know this is a little off topic, but i\'m curious.

is fairbanks anywhere near dutch harbor, that place they film Deadliest Catch.

I\'ve been enjoying (read:addicted) to that show for a while

If you can pack those suckers up and mail your minis to me I will take photos and mail them back. I have thought of starting this little venture since I had to take like 5000 mini photos for a project and many asked for copies etc.
I thought most would be scared to mail their babies but if you got the packing I got the digi. it is an option,
Who do you paint for just curious

@uber-where did you see a pic of my locks???

@ipaintminis-fairbanks is right in the middle of the state...about as far away from the ocean as you can be in alaska... those crabbers are some crazy guys...fun to party with...

@tab-i\'ll have to think about that...thanks for the offer...i checked out your site...i used to be a landscaper in south beach...i worked for flora flora...
over the last few years that i\'ve been back on this side of the world, i\'ve painted a litte for croc, a lot for privateer(i\'ll be postin\' my studio pics from them soon), and now i work for aberrant games...i\'m a demon winner, and got some stuff in this years gw catalog...
i get so much work, that i\'m not in a rush to post pics, but it\'s always nice to show off a bit:)...

If you click on your name to the left in each of your posts you\'ll get a pop-up window with your profile and there is a photo of you and your mighty locks. :)

I am from North Pole. I\'ll be back up there in late July. In the meantime my friend still lives up there, I think he can help you out. Dont know how long you have been living up there, but he works at Models enterprises. Lemme know and ill PM you his info.

cheers all...i\'ve had the camera thing down for a while, but my lighting sucks, and i need to learn about photoshop, and formats...lighting is killin\' my paintjobs...

@CBDesigns-i just got up here last week...it\'s been years since i been around(i did my senior year of high school at north pole in \'92), so i don\'t really know anyone...i\'ll be puttin\' up a display in the comic shop in fairbanks, which will generate some business...i can paint my arse off, but i don\'t know squat about all this technology...e-mail is about as advanced as it gets so far...:redface:so yeah, shoot me a pm...

right on bro...my hair is all natural though...no more work involved, than throwin\' away my hairbrush...the saltwater did all the work for me...so surfin\' + no hairbrush=nappyhair...
