Anyone in my neck of the Woods?

Hi Guys,
Just thought I'd ask if anyone on here is from the channel islands?
I'm from Jersey (the original not the poor imitation in the USA) and with it being such a small island its hard to find anyone else in the hobby. I have a couple of mates that do but they are mostly into the gaming side of things and so the painting chat is very minimal. Would be great to meet someone in shared my interest in painting.
Also have no problem with other hijacking the thread to help find others in their own area

I think build is from the channel islands. Not sure which one. He's a sculptor rather than a painter too...

I met Build at the painters dinner night before Games Day, he is a very nice guy and a great sculptor. His new lizardman sculpt is awesome, he did the first Avatars of War lizardman to. I think the new one will be better mind....

You mean the Jersey you guys sailed across the ocean and founded here because the one on your own island wasn't good enough? Sounds like someone still has hurt feelings over that whole war thing in the 1700s.

We should have like map or something so people could opt in to show their location for paint-ups.

Oh, and can't help you on finding somebody to paint with. Now, having said that, there's always doing it via Google+ or something like that. Not sure Kathy has done one in a while, as I never seem to catch anything from Google+ anyway.

Actually a local man was awarded the land as reward for sheltering the royals during the civil war

I'll have to try and contact Build and see if he is in my area.
